To the pretty little Schneidalm
How to get there: You arrive there from St. Leonhard to Moos and then to Pfelders 29 km. Parking is available directly in the centre of the village. The kilometre marker is directly from the hotel.
Route: From Pfelders (1,628 m) follow trail no. 6A in the direction of the Zwickauer Hütte. The trail leads up steep serpentines until a sign points to the Schneidalm (1 ½ hours). There are two options for the descent: 1. variant: From the hut, briefly follow trail no. 6A downhill and then turn right and follow the signpost to Lazins. Follow this descent out of the valley to Zeppichl (1,684 m) and then continue to Pfelders. 2nd option: From the Schneidalm, follow signpost 44B, first traverse the slopes and then descend via trail no. 6B in the direction of Pfelders.

Especially beautiful at sunrise
Because the breakfast table is already set at 6 a.m. by the 3 Hofer sisters - Sandra, Claudia & Maren. This is exactly why the Schneidalm is so popular as a sunrise tour. Everything is homemade and there is a hearty little buffet with sweet or savoury. In summer you can sit outside and enjoy the mountain scenery while having breakfast.
Simply super friendly & authentic!
